A Journey to the Self
An experiential retreat at Sagrada Wellness with Gray Wolf
October 1-5, 2008
A Journey to the Self is an experiential journey back to one’s True Self utilizing journaling, story-telling and story-listening, movement, guided visualization, primal scream, and body unwinding. On this journey, individual participants will re-integrate their inner-child, inner-adolescent, and inner-adult; explore and embrace their fears, shadows, and intrinsic gifts; release inner messages that are no longer life-giving or supportive; meet their spirit guides; discover the inner-mission of their life. A traditional herbal purification/blessing sweat and a traditional fire/drum circle will be experienced on the third and fourth evenings, respectively.
To bring: a journal; a personal sacred item to remain on the group altar for the duration of the retreat; a drum, rattle or percussive sticks.
Gray Wolf holds a B.S. in pre-medicine from Lipscomb University; is certified in traditional massage therapy from the Florida School of Massage; is certified in Ericsonian Hypnotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Healing Arts; is an initiated Reiki master, an initiated neo-shaman (International Foundation for Shamanic Studies) and initiated shaman (Lakota tradition). Gray Wolf currently resides and practices in San Miguel de Allende while studying native healing methods in Mexico.
Retreat includes
