Our Central Coast California Favorites

Scott, Eva, Anais and Angeles live at Sagrada Wellness just outside Santa Margarita, San Luis Obispo County, California.

Angeles

Angeles loves watching the trains go by and shouting “cho-cho” at the San Luis Obispo historic Spanish Colonial Train Station. It’s a true architectural delight. There’s a fantastic Italian Restaurant, Café Roma right across the street with tasty wood fired pizzas. After, enjoy a latte, hot coco, or vegan baked goodie at Sally Loo’s Café.

Anais

Anais loves her chocolate! And there’s no better place to indulge in some fine cacao than at Mama Ganache in SLO.

Even though Anais is growing up at a nature sanctuary, she still enjoys a good city park. Mitchell Park is her favorite- nice grassy fields, pretty trees and a super fun jungle gym. Laguna Lake is also a favorite park, great for picnicking.

Scott

Surfer Scott loves the break at Morro Bay. Beautiful expansive white sand beach with views of Morro Bay Rock. Healthy tide pools to explore and super fresh air to breath.

Santa Margarita Lake is one of Scott’s favorite places to explore when he’s not in front of his computer, cooking an outrageous meal for guests or maintaining the ranch. Great hiking, biking and kayaking and fun skipping rocks with his kids.

Make a left out of our driveway and you will be at Pozo Saloon shortly. Pozo is an old-West mini town with historic buildings and out of this world scenery. The Saloon hosts world-class musical acts throughout the summer. This past summer we took the kids to see Ziggy Marley and Steel Pulse!

Eva

Eva loves being a member of Ancient Peaks Winery, our closest neighbor! The tasting room is conveniently located in Santa Margarita. An afternoon of tasting their Petit Verdot or Oyster Ridge is always a delight. Not only do they grow their grapes sustainably, their wines are truly delicious. Taste for yourself!

Eva loves her occasional date night with Scott at The Range. In the heart of Santa Margarita, the Range serves local, innovative cuisine in an upscale ranch style environment.

Eva also loves browsing with her daughter or Mama through Santa Margarita’s Antique Barn. Several vendors display their treasures from the past. Eva finds antiquing therapeutic and fun.

Eva can’t resist a crunchy, chewy French baguette or an artisan multigrain turkey grinder from Hush Harbor in Atascadero. If you would like to really indulge try one of their morning glory muffins.
